The European Pulmonary Fibrosis Patient Summit 2024

We are very happy to announce that the 3rd European PF Patient Summit will take place from April 26-28, 2024 in Castelldefels, Spain at the Gran Hotel Rey Don Jaime.

An event by patients for patients

To bring patients together with all relevant stakeholders at eye level, and to foster exchange of knowledge and communication, EU-PFF hosts the biennial European Pulmonary Fibrosis Patient Summit, inviting patient advocates, HCPs, researchers, industry, and policymakers active in the fields of PF, related lung diseases, and respiratory health to discuss, network and learn about the latest insights in pulmonary fibrosis. It is a patient-led and inclusive event for exchanging ideas, best practices, and developments within the pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory health and rare disease environment, particularly aimed at educating and empowering patient advocates through education and collaboration.

Whether on site or virtually - let's drive change together

As this year’s Summit is designed as a hybrid event, those interested can either attend on site or have the same experience virtually: the six plenary sessions and translated workshop of the event will be streamed live. All plenary sessions and selected workshops will be translated live from English into French, German, Greek Italian and Spanish. What is more, our Exhibition Area invites you to explore! Discover the latest research in the field of pulmonary fibrosis through scientific posters and abstracts, connect with other attendees and have a look at the dedicated booths. It will be open throughout all three days of the event.

Would you like to be part of the Exhibition Area and present your work, research and projects to a wider international audience? Send us your abstract on research, person-centred care, or policy and advocacy in the field of Pulmonary Fibrosis by 31 March to pfpatientsummit (at) eu-pff.org. The European Pulmonary Fibrosis Patient Summit 2024 is endorsed by ERN-LUNG, the European Reference Network on rare respiratory diseases. Several members of the network will be speaking at the event.

Registration for the 3rd European Pulmonary Fibrosis Patient Summit will open in January 2024. Please click on the button below to register for on-site or virtual participation. Simply select your type of participation on the registration form. The registration page is in English, but you can also switch to French, Italian or Spanish.

Get the App & choose your Package

As with the previous virtual Summit, the sessions will be streamed live via the Swapcard event platform. A brief guide to registering and navigating the platform can be found here.

Complete your Summit 2024 experience with the Summit Swapcard app, which allows you to follow all sessions live, access information and network with other participants. You can download the app, which is available for free for iOS and Android, here and log in with the details you used to register for the summit (email and password).

To make the Summit as easy and convenient as possible for you, we have put together a Guide. It also includes further information on the programme, transport, travel and accommodation. It is available in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

In order to tailor the event to your specific needs, there will be two different event packages for the Summit:
